Jim "Mooch" Muccio is a career analyst with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and advanced degrees in both Liberal Arts from Texas Christian University and Operations Research from George Mason University. He was a munitions maintenance officer on active duty in the United States Air Force during the first Gulf War, a systems engineer with the Strategic Defense Initiative in the early 90's, and is currently a federal civilian conducting analysis on national defense systems. From 1994 to 2003 he was the President and CEO of Simulation Support, Inc. an analytic consulting firm doing analysis for the DoD he started with two other engineers.  He is an elected member of the Military Operations Research Society (MORS) Board of Directors and is currently the chairman of the Ethics Committee at MORS.


Eric “Merf” Murphy is a Mathematician with a degree in English Literature, a weakness for military and other kinds of history, and a particular interest in understanding the problems of strategy and analysis as they apply to military and national security problems.  Merf has had a reasonably successful career in the USAF applying his strengths in STEM and his weakness for the Humanities.
